Development Program Overview
‘Developing People and Players to be Winners’
This program is designed for all soccer players regardless of their initial technical level, but possessing the potential to develop soccer ability. TFSDC is not a traditional club and will work in concert with the towns programs to provide a highly structured ages and stages development path, that will get players to their best. TFSDC will run the program over a 36 week period by way of 2 weekly training sessions and matchplay in maple league on a Sunday. The practice sessions and game play will take place at our home in Amesbury Sports Park during the warmer months. For the winter months we will move indoors to our new facility based at 16 South Hunt Road Amesbury.Which is next door to the sports park. The game play structure will allow the players to put into practice the techniques and information they have received during the training session. A long term player development strategy (LPTD) will be put in place making sure that the physical, mental and social skills needed to succeed no matter what the sport or what you do in life.
